Chicago Fire's Monica Raymund of Sisu Theatrical Productions, LLC, Jacob Harvey of Cave 76 Productions, LLC and Jordi Coats presented a cabaret-style concert of VOLLEYGIRLS last night at 54 Below, which included tunes from the breakout hit from the 2013 New York Musical Theatre Festival. She will be joined by Broadway performers Ben Platt (Book of Mormon), Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), Emma Hunton (Next to Normal) and many more as they present material from new musicals by up-and-coming composers. Pittsburgh International Children's Theater, a division of The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, presents the Pittsburgh premiere of Theatreworks USA's The Teacher from the Black Lagoon & Other Story Books ('Dogzilla,' 'I Want My Hat Back,' 'Grumpy Bird,' 'Lily's Purple Plastic Purse,' 'Love Splat (Splat the Cat),' and 'The Grasshopper and the Ant') from February 16-23, 2014, at six performance locations throughout the area.
