TACT/The Actors Company Theatre has announced the cast and creative team for Natural Affection by William Inge, the first production of the company's 21st Season. Directed by TACT Co-Artistic Director Jenn Thompson, performances begin at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Opening night is set for Thursday, September 26 at 7:30pm. Performances will continue through October 26, 2013.

For the first time ever, Terence Rattigan and John Gielgud's stage adaptation of Charles Dickens's A Tale of Two Cities will be produced on stage, directed by Adam Spreadbury-Maher and opening at the King's Head Theatre on 25 September for a limited season, ending on 19 October.

TACT/The Actors Company Theatre has announced its 2013/2014 Season, which will include two treasures from iconic American playwrights. The critically-acclaimed and Drama Desk nominated Off-Broadway company 'dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit,' will present the family drama Natural Affection by William Inge and the comedy Beyond Therapy by Christopher Durang, Off-Broadway at The Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Theatre Row. Neither play has been seen in NYC since their original productions.

Previously only seen in London for one week at the Donmar Warehousein 1987, Mary Queen of Scots Got Her Head Chopped Off will get its first full London season, 25 years after its Scottish premiere, directed by Olivier Award Winning La Boheme director Robin Norton-Hale at the King's Head Theatre, Islington, now through Saturday 22 June. Theatre for a New Audience has been partnering for 15 years with P.S. 235 in Canarsie, Brooklyn, with an annual 13-week program that combines the experience of seeing a great Shakespearean play with in-depth classroom work. P.S. 235 is a Pre-K to Grade 8 school which attracts gifted and talented students, largely of Caribbean descent, from all over Brooklyn.
