This afternoon I had the chance to conduct an InDepth InterView with Drama Desk-winning stage actor and director Brian Murray who currently stars alongside Elizabeth Ashley in Edward Albee's new off-Broadway farce ME, MYSELF & I. BWW will be running a series of articles on that production and its performers all next week, but this news was too good to hold all weekend! Murray dishes on his new 2011 'horrific chiller' co-starring Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts directed by esteemed director Jim Sheridan (MY LEFT FOOT, THE BOXER, GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN', BROTHERS), as well as playing Alec Baldwin and Nathan Lane's alcoholic father on 30 ROCK (married to Elaine Stritch!) and his warm words to his TWELFTH NIGHT co-star Kyra Sedgwick on her Emmy win as Best Actress for THE CLOSER last week! On Friday, September 17, TheatreWorks New Milford will present the classic absurdist comedy of death, EXIT THE KING, by Eugene Ionesco. The show is scheduled for a four-week run.

VSA (The International Organization on Arts and Disability), an affiliate of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, presents as special abridged version of JACK FROM ABOVE -- a new play performed by Tony Award-winning director Jack Hofsiss (THE ELEPHANT MAN) chronicling his life-changing experiences following a near-fatal diving accident -- for two performances only at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts' Family Theatre in Washington, DC (2700 F Street NW) on Thursday, September 30 and Friday, October 1 at 7:30pm.

The Town Hall, New York City's landmark concert venue (123 West 43rd Street), will honor Tony ® and Emmy ® Award winning theatre legend Elaine Stritch, (who is currently starring in A Little Night Music) and Merryl H. American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) opens its 2010-11 season with the return of two-time Tony Award winner and A.C.T. favorite Bill Irwin (Fool Moon at A.C.T., Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? on Broadway, and the award-winning film Rachel Getting Married) to the Bay Area in his hilarious reimagining of Molière's Scapin. In this lively baggy-pants comedy, the rascally title character balances his penchant for mayhem and mischief with a promise to help two pairs of wide-eyed lovers.

Court Theatre announces the final selection for the company's fifty-sixth season, Edward Albee's Three Tall Women, pending final approval from Mr. Albee. The production will be directed by Artistic Director Charles Newell.

Victory Gardens opens its 2010/11 Season with Edward Albee's At Home At The Zoo directed by Artistic Director Dennis Za?ek. Playwrights Horizons presents the New York premiere production of Edward Albee's ME, MYSELF & I with a cast lead by Elizabeth Ashley & Brian Murray and directed by Emily Mann

The Stella Adler Studio of Acting will hold its 5th annual Harold Clurman Festival of the Arts this fall, bringing artists and activists together to discuss the relationship between art and social activism. Events will take place beginning on September 20th and end on October 1st.

Rehearsals are now underway for the Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) New York premiere of Edward Albee's ME, MYSELF & I, a new play by the three-time Pulitzer Prize and three-time Tony Award winner (A Delicate Balance; Seascape; Three Tall Women; Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?; The Goat or, Who Is Sylvia?). The production opens the theater company's 40th Anniversary Season, in which Mr. Albee will be making his Playwrights Horizons debut. The play is Mr. Albee's 30th.

Rep Stage, the professional Equity theatre in residence at Howard Community College (HCC), kicks off its 18th season with Giles Havergal's adaptation of Graham Greene's 'Travels With My Aunt.'

Producer Daryl Roth announces that following a sold out developmental run last spring, THE DIVINE SISTER, the new comedy written by and starring Charles Busch, directed by Carl Andress, will transfer to the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street) featuring the entire original company: Alison Fraser, Amy Rutberg, Jennifer Van Dyck, Jonathan Walker, and Julie Halston.
