Los Angeles Times film critic Betsy Sharkey will host the evening. Oscar-nominated actress Bette Midler was originally scheduled to participate in the event, but has had to cancel for personal reasons. Instead, she will provide a special video message dedicated to the cast, crew and fans of the film.

S.T.A.G.E. is the world's longest continuously running AIDS benefit. Net proceeds from the annual event benefit AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA), an organization now in its 26th year of providing direct services and HIV/AIDS prevention education throughout Los Angeles County.
