Victory Gardens Theater introduces Backstage at the Biograph, a new event series that takes audiences behind-the-scenes for an in-depth look at a unique aspect of the rehearsal process of each production throughout the season. The first Backstage at the Biograph focuses on Sucker Punch by Roy Williams, directed by Dexter Bullard, running September 18 - October 18, 2015. Backstage at the Biograph: Blow-By-Blow highlights the intensive boxing training actors must go through for the production. A new Latino superhero is born in this epic coming-of-age adventure, told through theatre, puppetry, animation, music and a children's choir. DON CHIPOTLE will play tonight, August 25 - September 27, 2015 at the Storefront Theater, 66 E. Randolph St. in Chicago.

Directed by ensemble member Yasen Peyankov, the cast features ensemble members Francis Guinan and Tim Hopper sharing the role of Frog and Mariann Mayberry as Shelley with Brittany Uomoleale as Emma and Victor Almanzar as Oscar.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company announced today the extension of The Herd, the debut play of Olivier Award-winning actor Rory Kinnear currently playing to critical acclaim in its U.S. premiere production in Steppenwolf's Downstairs Theatre. In a four-star review, the Chicago Tribune raves, 'A family drama that sticks with you...this is Steppenwolf acting at its best' and The New York Times says, 'a buoyantly entertaining play [that] breathes with real, complicated life.'
