Today, the Toronto Star is reporting that composer Andrew Lloyd Webber came to town on Saturday to see the production which has been generating potential Broadway buzz. If true, the production would come to town along with another bible based revival - the already confirmed GODSPELL.

The music from Frank Wilhorn's DRACULA will finally be available to theatre fans everywhere, as GlobalVision Records has just released the Studio Cast Recording of the show. On Friday June 3rd Des McAnuff's new production of Jesus Christ Superstar opened at Stratford's Avon Theatre as part of the 2011 Stratford Shakespeare Festival's Season. People have been buzzing about it ever since. The rock musical has been re-envisioned by legendary director McAnuff, and BWW is thrilled to bring its readers photos from the show. To celebrate summer, Sunday performances of the international multi award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS at the Prince Edward Theatre will start at the later time of 5.00pm from Sunday 5 June, for 13 weeks through to 28 August.

The Stratford Shakespeare Festival's Board of Governors announceed that Des McAnuff will continue as Artistic Director through the 2013 season. 'Mr. McAnuff is a very gifted director and leader who is much in demand, and we are delighted that he has agreed to continue as our Artistic Director for an additional two years,' says Dr. Lee Myers, Chair of the Board of Governors.

The cast of JERSEY BOYS, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical, will perform on the Intrepid for Fleet Week on Friday, May 27 beginning at 12:00pm.

An all-new documentary about the Broadway musical JERSEY BOYS has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 28 at 12:30 p.m. on WBAY Channel 2 due to weather coverage of Sunday's storms.
