Flag Day Parade Impacts Travel to Jersey Boys June 11
Ticket holders for the Saturday, June 11 matinee performance of JERSEY BOYS will need to allow additional travel time because of the Appleton Flag Day Parade. To accommodate ticket holders who arrive early for the performance, the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center will open at 12:00 p.m. and host a JERSEY BOYS social hour prior to the performance. The parade's route starts on College Avenue near the Fox Cities P.A.C. and is expected to draw approximately 60,000 spectators.
Maria Van Laanen, executive vice president of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, explained that visitor experience is a top priority. "We try to be proactive in considering the visitors' experience, ensuring people enjoy their time at the Center and leave downtown Appleton excited to come back again. We know travel affects that experience, so we're working with the City of Appleton to make sure JERSEY BOYS and the Flag Day Parade are both great community events on June 11." Ticket holders for the Saturday, June 11 JERSEY BOYS matinee at 2:00 p.m. will need to approach the Center via Franklin Street from detours on Richmond Street/Memorial Street or Lawe Street. Street parking will be very limited, and ticket holders are encouraged to park in the Washington Street Ramp for a $2 fee (cash only). Ticket holders for the Saturday, June 11 performance will receive a postcard with specific directions and a detailed map. They may also visit foxcitiespac.com or call the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center's ticket office at (920) 730-3760 for more information. The Center's ticket office and Ticketmaster are the only authorized sellers of JERSEY BOYS tickets and do not endorse or cooperate with any ticket brokers or scalpers. Ticket brokers operate locally and nationally and are frequently found when you search for tickets online. When purchasing tickets from a broker, it is quite likely that you are paying excessive broker fees that are often double or triple the actual face value of the ticket. Please be aware, if you purchase tickets from a ticket broker or any third party, the Center cannot guarantee that your tickets are valid and cannot reprint your tickets if they are lost or stolen.
