Leslie Jordan's 'My Trip Down the Pink Carpet' to Premiere April 15 at Westside Theatre

West 43rd Street will become a little pinker, as will the Easter Parade (and all of New York City in general) when the actor Leslie Jordan arrives to bring his acclaimed solo show, My Trip Down The Pink Carpet, to the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street) this Spring. Producer Bruce Robert Harris announced that performances will begin on Wednesday, April 15, with an official opening night set for Monday evening, April 20. David Galligan directs the 6-week limited engagement.

New York: Carson Kressley, host of the Lifetime's ?How to Look Good Naked? and of Bravo?s ?Queer Eye for the Straight Guy? will team up with Manhattan Hematology Oncology Associates p.c.(Karen J. Haglof, M.D. Alec S. Goldenberg M.D..) and Galleria on Third, New York?s premiere framing gallery, to host an art exhibit to benefit the Cancer Center at Bellevue Hospital. This two-week event will begin on December 4 and continue through December 20, 2008. There will be a special reception on Thursday, December 4, from 6-9pm,Galleria On Third is located at 529 3rd avenue (Between 35 & 36 Street). The exhibit is free to attend and is open to the public.

The evening included a performance by Emmy Award-winning actor Leslie Jordan and was be held at New World Stages, 340 West 50th Street, New York, NY 10036, with a reception following.
