The Nora Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Alan Brody's THE MIDVALE HIGH SCHOOL FIFTIETH REUNION, a light-hearted, evocative trip down Memory Lane with the Class of 1954. Directed by Lee Mikeska Gardner, Emmy-winning actor Gordon Clapp and Underground Railway Theater Artistic Director Debra Wise portray two classmates returning to their alma mater for the first time. Neither is sure of what they're looking for, but they hope they'll recognize it if they find it.

The Poets' Theatre is proud to announce its upcoming production of Nobel Laureate Dario's Fo comic masterpiece "Mistero Buffo" at Suffolk University's Modern Theatre from March 18th to 26th, 2016, as part of a festival celebrating Fo's 90th birthday. The production features acclaimed actors Remo Airaldi, Benjamin Evett, and Debra Wise, and is directed by Bob Scanlan. The new American translation is by Bob Scanlan and Walter Valeri.

Boston Playwright's Theatre alumna Monica Bauer turned her memoir into a memory play that tells her compelling personal story. CHOSEN CHILD travels between times and places, as well as across generations, but it is worth staying with it to get inside these characters and understand their motivations. A stellar cast under the direction of Megan Schy Gleeson gives nuanced performances, brimming with intensity and commitment.

There are few things that speak to the resilience and hopefulness of mankind more than the history of Brundibar, currently being performed at the Central Square Theatre. It is an opera for children (which is ambitious in itself), but it was created by Jewish artists and performed in the Terezin concentration camps, in spite of all of the horror and pain being inflicted.

Commonwealth Shakespeare Company (CSC) will debut Theatre In The Rough with a script-in-hand reading of William Shakespeare's Richard III featuring Jeffrey Donovan of USA's Burn Notice. The reading will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 (7pm) at Babson College's Sorenson Center for the Arts, 231 Forest St, Park Manor South, Wellesley, MA. The reading is free and open to the public. A $50 per person donation includes VIP seating for the reading and admission to a private reception (10pm) with the cast at the Glavin Family Chapel at Babson College. Space is limited. The Other Place by Sharr White, presented by the Underground Railroad Theater and the Nora Theatre Company at the Central Square Theater is about a middle-aged scientist faced with a crumbling marriage, an estranged daughter, and a mystery illness that she is trying to self-diagnose. The story is described by director Bridget Kathleen O'Leary as a logic puzzle.

The StageSource Board of Directors has named Nora Theatre Company founding Artistic Director, Mimi Huntington as the recipient of the 2013 StageSource Theater Hero Award. The Theater Hero Award is being presented to Ms. Huntington for her service, inspiration and role as a champion of the theater community and will be awarded on Saturday, June 29th at the conclusion of the 2013 StageSource Theater Conference.
