Alan Gilbert will conduct the New York Philharmonic in the New York Premiere of Esa-Pekka Salonen's Karawane - a New York Philharmonic co-commission with Zurich's Tonhalle Orchestra, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Bamberg Symphony, and Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra - featuring the New York Choral Artists, directed by Joseph Flummerfelt; Sibelius's Violin Concerto, with Leonidas Kavakos as soloist; and Shostakovich's Suite from The Age of Gold, Thursday, March 17, 2016, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, March 18 at 8:00 p.m.; and Saturday, March 19 at 8:00 p.m.

On Friday, February 12, 2016 Lincoln Center will host its first ever Late Nights at the Atrium, which is one of four series that has been newly-added to the programming lineup of free events at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center.

LIVE FROM LINCOLN CENTER - the multiple Emmy Award-winning performing arts series that for more than 40 years has showcased the best of the wide-ranging programming from the world's leading performing arts center - will broadcast the opera world's most highly anticipated event of the season tonight, February 5, 2016.

With half a century of stellar performances and universally-acclaimed artists to its credit, Lincoln Center's Great Performers series announces its 51st season.

On February 8,  some of Broadway's top talent including Will Swenson, Jessica Phillips, Jenni Barber, and Andrew Mueller perform songs from Some Lovers, the new musical from legendary songwriter Burt Bacharach and Tony Award-winning playwright Steven Sater (Spring Awakening). This event is part of LC Originals, where artists share new works and demystify the creative process.

The LC Dialogues series will continue today, February 2 (7:30 pm) with Paul Gemignani, Stephen Sondheim's musical director for the last 40 years, as he sits for an intimate conversation with Justin Levine about his exceptional career. This live event is free and open to the public; no tickets required; seating is first-come, first served. Four series have been newly-added to the programming lineup of free events at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center: The History of the World in 100 Performances with Adam Gopnik, and three series curated and produced by Award-winning theater directors Lonny Price and Matt Cowart: LC Dialogues, LC Originals, and Late Nights at the Atrium.

The annual Richard Tucker Music Foundation Gala concert features some of opera's biggest stars, including Andrea Bocelli, Renee Fleming, Angela Gheorghiu, Isabel Leonard, Christine Goerke, Lawrence Brownlee, Stephen Costello, Nadine Sierra, and Piotr Bezcala, along with this year's Richard Tucker Award winner, Jamie Barton. Supporting the singers will be members of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and New York Choral society under the baton of Eugene Kohn. Semyon Bychkov will return to the New York Philharmonic to conduct Mahler's Symphony No. 6, Thursday, February 11, 2016, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, February 12 at 8:00 p.m.; Saturday, February 13 at 8:00 p.m.; and Tuesday, February 16 at 7:30 p.m.
