The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) will honor producers Barry and Fran Weissler (Chicago, Wonderful Town, La Cage Aux Folles, Scottsboro Boys) and the winners of the NYMF 2010 Awards for Excellence at the Seventh Season Awards Gala taking place on Sunday, November 14th at The Hudson Theatre (145 W. 44th Street) beginning at 6:00pm.

The competition is getting fierce at ABC's Dancing with the Stars, and after an intense instant dance challange this week, football star Kurt Warner and partner Anna Trebunskaya were voted off of the show. Remaining competitors include: Brandy, Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin and Jennifer Grey. Previously voted-off contestants include: Rick Fox, Audrina Patridge, Florence Henderson, Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino, Margaret Cho, Michael Bolton, and David Hasselhoff.

ABC's Dancing with the Stars celebrated it's 200th episode this week with a variety of special performances and previouscompetitors, and the pressure proved too much to handle for basketball star Rick Fox and partner Cheryl Burke. Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin were also in the bottom three, but will get another chance to prove themselves at next week's special 'Instant Dance' competition. Remaining competitors include: Brandy, Kurt Warner, Jennifer Grey. Previously voted-off contestants include: Audrina Patridge, Florence Henderson, Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino, Margaret Cho, Michael Bolton, and David Hasselhoff.

According to The Telegraph, David Hasselhoff will make his pantomine debut as Captain Hook in the New Wimbledon Theatre production of Peter Pan. 'The Hoff' joins reality television star Louie Spence, who who is set to play Roger. The show opens December 10.

ABC's hit 'Dancing with the Stars' is half way through, and tonight, a combination of low judges' scores and viewers' votes got Florence Henderson and partner Corky Ballas kicked out of the competition for good. Jennifer Grey and Rick Fox were also in the bottom three, but will get another chance to prove themselves at next week's rock episode. Popular TV/ film/Broadway actor Monte Markham will play Antony in a scene from Antony and Cleopatra for CART (California Artists Radio Theatre) on October 9 at the Beverly Garland Hotel in NoHo at 1:30 pm. Markham is well known to TV/film audiences for his consistent work in TV series, MOWs and theatrical movies for the last 50 years. He is also producer/director of a series of acclaimed documentaries which have changed the face of Cable TV, since before the History Channel began. He started his Broadway career in 1973 co-starring in song and dance with Debbie Reynolds in the musical Irene, for which he won the prestigious Theatre World Award. In our interview he concentrates on his roots in and passion for theatre, and may I add with tremendous intelligence, wit and integrity.
