Richard Eyre returns to the Almeida Theatre to direct the world premiere of Nick Dear's The Dark Earth and the Light Sky. Running from 8 November 2012 - 12 January 2013, with an opening night November 15. Designs are by Bob Crowley with lighting by Peter Mumford and sound by John Leonard. The casting will be announced shortly.
OUR COUNTRY'S GOOD to Tour UK From Sept 3

Out of Joint Artistic Director Max Stafford-Clark will revisit Timberlake Wertenbaker's Olivier Award winning play, OUR COUNTRY'S GOOD, in a new production touring the UK this autumn. Looking at the first British convict colony to land in Australia, OUR COUNTRY'S GOOD will launch at the Octagon Theatre Bolton on 3 September. The production will also visit London's newest venue, St James Theatre, in early 2013.

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) presents the world premiere of STOREFRONT CHURCH, written and directed by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award® winner John Patrick Shanley and starring Bob Dishy, Giancarlo Esposito, Zach Grenier, Ron Cephas Jones and Tonya Pinkins.
STOREFRONT CHURCH will begin previews Wednesday, May 16; officially open Monday, June 11; and play a limited engagement through Sunday, June 24 Off-Broadway as the first production to return to Atlantic's main stage Linda Gross Theater in Chelsea following completion of a historic $8.3M renovation.

Kate Winslet is exploring the possibibility of making her stage debut opposite Billy Nighy in David Hare's play Skylight, Daily Mail reports. According to Daily Mail, the Oscar-winning actress has already spoken with Hare several times about acting in the play, which Hare would direct.

Court Theatre today announced its 2012/13 season under the continuing leadership of Artistic Director Charles Newell, Executive Director Stephen J. Albert, Board Chair Virginia Gerst and Deputy Provost of the Arts Larry Norman. The company's 58th season will feature August Wilson's Jitney, directed by Resident Artist Ron OJ Parson; a reimagining of James Joyce's The Deaddirected by Artistic Director Charles Newell with Musical Direction by Doug Peck; David Hare's Skylight directed by William Brown in his Court Theatre debut; and University of Chicago alumnus David Auburn's Proof, also directed by Charles Newell. Newell will close the season by returning to the world of French Baroque with Moliere's The Misanthrope, followed by Tartuffe.
