Gingold Theatrical Group makes history as the first company to present every play (including full-length works, one-acts and sketches) written by George Bernard Shaw with its 44th PROJECT SHAW presentation, WHY SHE WOULD NOT -- the author's final and unfinished play -- on Monday, December 14 at 7pm at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South) in Manhattan. David Staller, who has produced and directed all of the Project Shaw readings during its initial four-year series, is set to direct.

Bill Weeden, the veteran songwriter-comedian whose tunes were the basis for 2006's long-running musical revue Into the Weeds, closes this weekend in the American premiere of Richard Foreman's George Bataille's Bathrobe at The Brick, the Williamsburg theater known for its adventurousness and edge. The production was much-praised and so was Weeden's performance in the leading role. BWW caught up with Bill this week via e-mail to ask him about Foreman, the production, and his career.

Jim Caruso's Cast Party is proud to announce celebrated songwriting and performing team of MARCY HEISLER (bookwriter/lyricist) and ZINA GOLDRICH (composer), in The Marcy & Zina Show, Monday, July 20, 2009 at 7pm, as part of the long-running, critically-heralded concert series Broadway at Birdland. Special musical guests will be Clinton Kelly (TV's 'What Not To Wear'), composer Jeff Blumenkrantz and singer Jill Abramovitz.
