The Laurie Beechman theatre was filled to capacity on Monday, November 4th for the Emerson College BFA Showcase featuring the BFA Acting and BFA Musical Theatre Class of 2013. Industry professionals hoping to find new cast members for their next projects and Emerson Alumni showed up to support and welcome the talented group to show business. Melia Bensussen, Chair of the Dept of Performing Arts thanked the audience and students for their dedication to Emerson College. Scroll down for photos!

On Monday, October 7th, the Screen Actors Guild Foundation raised over $130,000 for its Catastrophic Health Fund and Assistance programs at its inaugural New York Golf Classic at Trump National Golf Club in Westchester, NY. Actor and SAG Foundation Board Member Ron Perlman hosted the first New York tournament benefitting performers facing life-threatening illnesses and severe economic hardship.
