In the first season on the Karen Kuykendall Stage in the new Topfer Theatre, ZACH Theatre presents Harvey. Previews are tonight, May 15-22, with opening set for May 23 at 7:30 p.m., followed by a reception with the stars of show. ZACH Theatre has announced its 2013-14 season-the second in the acclaimed new Topfer Theatre-with a lineup of six plays and musicals chosen to build on the dynamic and intimate experiences audiences are enjoying in this spectacular first season.

ZACH, Austin's Theatre and Texas' longest running theatre, in its first youth production of the season, presents the world premiere of MARIACHI GIRL, written by Roxanne Shroeder-Arce, Music and Lyrics by Hector Martinez Moralez, and Directed by Brant Pope.

Bernadette Peters, one of the greatest living Broadway superstars, will headline the first opening gala, Once Upon a Dream, at ZACH's new Topfer Theatre tonight, Sept. 27. The illustrious actress, winner of two Tony Awards, three Drama Desk Awards, and a Golden Globe Award, is known for iconic stage roles in Gypsy, Song and Dance, and Annie Get Your Gun among many others. Her performance at ZACH's gala will include a 30-piece orchestra of Austin musicians.
