The Minnesota premiere of Disney's ALADDIN launches the 2017-2018 Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin Season for a limited four week engagement tonight, Sept. 15-Sunday, Oct. 8 at the historic Orpheum Theatre (910 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis).

Casting has been announced for the Minnesota premiere of Disney's ALADDIN which launches the 2017-2018 Bank of America Broadway on Hennepin Season for a limited four week engagement Friday, Sept. 15-Sunday, Oct. 8 at the historic Orpheum Theatre (910 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis).

The tour cast of RODGERS AND HAMMERSTEIN'S CINDERELLA will start off their fall and winter performances in Anchorage at the Atwood Concert Hall from October 24-29.

Ghostlight Records celebrates the premiere cast recording of the musical Kurt Vonnegut's God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater - based on the recent production by the New York City Center's Encores! The National Tour of Aladdin proudly celebrated their 100th performance in Chicago. Produced by Disney Theatrical Productions, the show features music by Tony Award and eight-time Oscar®winner Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, Sister Act), lyrics by two-time Oscar winner Howard Ashman (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid), three-time Tony Award and three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice (Evita, Aida) and four-time Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer), with a book by Beguelin, and is directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon,Something Rotten!).

Disney Theatrical Productions and SHN announced today that tickets for the long-awaited engagement of Disney's ALADDIN will go on sale to the public on Friday, June 16.  The hit Broadway musical will begin performances on November 1, 2017 for a limited engagement of 10 weeks through January 7, 2018.

Beginning last night, Broadway's Jacob Dickney has joined the cast of Aladdin in Chicago in the title role. Current star Adam Jacobs is on a minor medical leave, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Disney Theatrical Productions announced today that Matthew Croke will star in the title role of Aladdin as the new musical based on the classic Academy Award-winning animated film approaches its first birthday in the West End. Jade Ewen will continue in the role of Jasmine and Trevor Dion Nicholas, who made his London stage debut as Genie, remains in the role.
