Jeff Daniels has done it all. The actor is well known for his performances on TV and the big screen as well as his work as a musician and playwright. This season he has picked up his second Tony nomination (Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play) for his portrayal of Ray in BLACKBIRD, opposite Michelle WIlliams. Finally, an update on the long-gestating MISS SAIGON film adaptation! Rumored since 2012 and mentioned again when the Boublil and Schonberg musical returned to the West End in 2014, the Daily Mail writes that Danny Boyle -- the director behind SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, 127 HOURS, London's 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, STEVE JOBS and more -- is in talks to helm the project for Cameron Mackintosh and Working Title. No official announcement has been made.
