?In an exciting ceremony at The Venetian Las Vegas, actress and comedian Loni Love led the unveiling of a new variety of rose, The Venetian Rose, named after the Las Vegas resort. Loni Love traveled to the ceremony, which was held at Saint Mark's Square in the Grand Canal Shoppes, in a gondola adorned with Venetian Roses.

LAS VEGAS (January 15, 2015) – To commemorate Chinese New Year 2015, The Venetian and The Palazzo are celebrating the Year of the Goat in a number of extravagant ways. Through March 8, guests will be greeted with opulent art and décor, restaurant offerings, and incentive cards. A ceremonial lion dance will officially kick off Chinese New Year 2015 today, Feb. 19, at 3:00 p.m.

Amid a display of 6,500 roses, Chris Harrison, host of ABC-TV's 'The Bachelor,' led the unveiling of the newest variety of red rose, called The Palazzo Rose, after the Las Vegas resort. The rose 'christening' ceremony -- held in the resort's picturesque Waterfall Atrium & Gardens -- was also attended by representatives of the flower's breeders and growers, which was developed in The Netherlands.

Las Vegas resort is namesake of new variety of crimson red rose and will exclusively feature the rose for one year; Faith Hill received first arrangement on Opening Night at The Venetian.
