Bob Boyett and NETworks Presentations announce casting for the national tour of the Lincoln Center Theater production of Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein's prize-winning musical 'South Pacific,' directed by Bartlett Sher, opening June 2 at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre and playing through July 17, 2010. 9Thirty Theatre Company (Jeff Burroughs, Artistic Director) announces 'THE BIRDS' TO SAVE BIRDS, a benefit to support one of the country's first eco theatres and Tri-State Birds, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and rehabilitating birds in the Gulf of Mexico. The benefit will take place from 7PM-11PM on July 25th at The Foundry.

Asolo Rep announces the selection of Steven Drukman's new play The Innocents for a fully staged world premiere in 2011. Chosen from five plays developed during Asolo Rep's 2010 UNPLUGGED new play festival, The Innocents will open in April 2011 as part of the repertory season and in conjunction with the 2011 UNPLUGGED festival of new plays.

Tony Award-nominee Jonathan Groff performed two solo concerts at Joe's Pub on Father's Day, June 20th, at 7:00pm and 9:30pm. Groff, who guest starred on GLEE this season with former SPRING AWAKENING co-star Lea Michele, was accompanied by Jonathan Haffiner, Craig Taborn, Eivind Opsvik, Ben Perowsky, and Kenny Wollesen for both performances at Joe's Pub.

According to Zap2it.com Groff was joined by Craig Taborn, Ben Perowsky, Jonathan Haffiner, Eivind Opsvik and Kenny Wollesen.
