The 2013 Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by founding sponsor American Express, today announced its lineup of 60 short films, 30 of which are world premieres-a record number for the Festival-and a special screening.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director), Barry Grove (Executive Producer), and Mandy Greenfield (Artistic Producer) just announced the 2012 recipients of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Initiative commissions for Manhattan Theatre Club. This year's six commissioned writers are April de Angelis (Jumpy), Nick Jones (The Coward), Heidi Schreck (Creature), Melissa Ross (Thinner Than Water), Sarah Treem (A Feminine Ending), and Bess Wohl (Barcelona).

Like some of her major inspirations and influences-Sophie Tucker, Patti LuPone, Richard Pryor, John Beluschi and Freddy Mercury-Everett is a true original who has carved out a space in New York City's bustling cabaret, comedy and theater worlds that is all her own. Bayside! The UnMusical!, the hilarious, unauthorized, and critically acclaimed musical parody of TV's Saved by the Bell, has been extended. Audiences now have three more weeks to see the show that Fox 5 News called "Book of Mormon meets Saved by the Bell", running through October 17th.
