Photo Flash: First Look at  Letter of Marque Theater Company's DOUBLE FALSEHOOD

 Letter of Marque Theater Company is pleased to present a first look at their innovative production of DOUBLE FALSEHOOD, directed by Andrew Borthwick Leslie.  First published in 1727 by Lewis Theobald, new research indicates that DOUBLE FALSEHOOD, might have actually been written by William Shakespeare and John Fletcher. DOUBLE FALSEHOOD is currently in previews and plays through Saturday,  April 9th, 2016 at The Irondale Center (85 S. Oxford St. Brooklyn, NY 11217). Opening Night is Saturday, March 12th at 7:30 p.m.

Letter of Marque Theater Company, the young ensemble theater company known for staging the President's Execution of Edward Snowden, an ongoing series of underground performance parties, and offering all of its work at little or no cost to their audiences, is presenting DOUBLE FALSEHOOD, directed by Andrew Borthwick-Leslie.  First published in 1727 by Lewis Theobald, new research indicates that DOUBLE FALSEHOOD, might have actually been written by William Shakespeare and John Fletcher. DOUBLE FALSEHOOD will play a five week limited engagement from Saturday, March 5th through Saturday,  April 9th, 2016 at The Irondale Center (85 S. Oxford St. Brooklyn, NY 11217). Shakespeare & Company has finalized casting for its 38th performance season, and released a complete schedule of Opening Night dates. The announcement was made this week by Interim Artistic Directors Ariel Bock and Jonathan Croy, along with a positive report from Interim Managing Director Stephen D. Ball on the Company's box office successes to date. Shakespeare & Company's season opens on May 22 with The How and The Why, by Sarah Treem.

Berkshire Theatre Group has announced additional casting for A Little Night Music. Four-time Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk Award winner Gregg Edelman will play the role of Fredrik Egerman and Emmy Award winner and two-time Tony Award nominee Penny Fuller will play the role of Madame Armfeldt for BTG's 2014 summer musical. Ethan Heard, who directed BTG's 2013 hit murder mystery The Cat and the Canary, will direct Stephen Sondheim's award-winning musical which also features Tony Award and Drama Desk nominee Kate Baldwin, internationally-acclaimed vocalist and actress Maureen O'Flynn, and Broadway and television actor Graham Rowat.

Shakespeare & Young Company showcase their eight weeks of intense training in two performances at The Rose Footprint. They will be presenting a 45-minute, plot-driven, re-imagining of Hamlet, with three different actors playing three different Hamlets, and Another Part of the Forest, an As You Like It/Midsummer mash-up. The Young Company features twelve young adults, aged 16-20, from across the United States.
