Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced a luncheon to laud The Old Globe's corporate donors for their outstanding annual fund support. The Annual Corporate Appreciation Event will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, Oct. 20 in Hattox Hall, located in the Karen and Donald Cohn Education Center at the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Optional tours of the theatre complex will be available at 11:30 a.m.

The Old Globe is now presenting SOMEWHERE by Matthew Lopez, directed by Giovanna Sardelli. The production began previews on September 24, and officially opens tonight, September 29. The Old Globe today announced that James Vásquez will direct the theater's upcoming revival of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show. Vásquez replaces the previously announced Oanh Nguyen, who has departed the production due to artistic differences.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Somewhere, a new play by Old Globe Playwright-in-Residence Matthew Lopez. Lopez's play The Whipping Man was a critical success in New York last season after receiving its West Coast Premiere at the Globe in a production directed by Giovanna Sardelli. Sardelli returns to direct Somewhere, which will run in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, Sept. 24 - Oct. 30. Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced that Matt McGrath will appear in the role of Frank ‘N' Furter in The Old Globe's upcoming production of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show. McGrath appeared on Broadway as the Emcee in Sam Mendes' hit revival of Cabaret and in the international tour of Tom Waits and William S. Burroughs' The Black Rider: The Casting of the Magic Bullets directed by Robert Wilson. He has also appeared Off Broadway in Hedwig and the Angry Itch and A Fair Country at Lincoln Center Theater. McGrath replaces the previously announced James Barbour, who has departed the production.

Today the Old Globe's Executive Producer Lou Spisto and James Barbour announced that Barbour has regretfully departed the role of Frank ‘N' Furter in The Old Globe's upcoming production of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show due to issues with his wife's pregnancy. A replacement for the role will be announced soon.
