Today the 34th Santa Barbara International Film Festival announced its recipients for the Virtuosos Award presented by UGG, an honor created to recognize a select group of talent whose noteworthy performances in film have elevated them into the national cinematic dialogue. Yalitza Aparicio (Roma) Sam Elliott (A Star is Born), Elsie Fisher (Eighth Grade) Claire Foy (First Man), Richard E. Grant (Can You Ever Forgive Me?), Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie (Leave No Trace), John David Washington(BlacKkKlansman) and Steven Yeun (Burning) will receive the award on Tuesday, February 5th, 2019 at The Arlington Theatre.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the nominations for the 2019 Golden Globe Awards this morning. Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award winner Claire Foy will make her “SNL” hosting debut Dec. 1. She currently stars in “First Man” and “The Girl in the Spider's Web,” both in theaters now, and portrays Queen Elizabeth in the first two seasons of Netflix's “The Crown.”

Today, November 18, the 64th Evening Standard Awards were presented in London.

The shortlist for the 64th Evening Standard Theatre Awards is unveiled today. It has been expanded to include five names in most categories and the variety of productions reveals the health of London's theatre land.

'The Girl in the Spider's Web' will premiere at the 13th Rome Film Fest. The festival's opening night film will be 'Bad Times at the El Royale.' Other films in the lineup include Steve Carell and Timothée Chalamet's 'Beautiful Boy,' 'Halloween,' and 'The Miseducation of Cameron Post.' See the full lineup below!

The Evening Standard today announces the 2018 Theatre Awards are to take place on Sunday, 18th November at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London.

The 70th Emmy Awards will telecast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Monday, September 17, (8:00-11:00 PM ET/5:00-8:00 PM PT) on NBC. Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost and Michael Che will serve as co-hosts. The Television Academy and Executive Producer Lorne Michaels today announced the second group of talent set to present the iconic Emmy statuette at the 70th Emmy® Awards on Monday, September 17.

After announcing Farrelly's GREEN BOOK with Viggo Mortensen as Opening Film, the Zurich Film Festival is now delighted to confirm further Gala Premieres.
