Cirque du Soleil, ETH Zurich, and Verity Studios have teamed up to create a short film featuring 10 quadcopters -- i.e. drones -- in a flying dance sequence. The scene begins with a man working late at night, when suddenly his workshop loses power and he must struggle to work by the light of a single kerosene lamp -- that is, until his lamps take on a life of their own. Canadian-based Monlove Enterprises today announced that tickets to the world premiere of N THE QUEEN OF PARIS at the Elgin Theatre in Toronto will go on sale on September 24, 2014. The new musical, which will open exactly one year later, was inspired by the Champagne atmosphere and rags-to-riches romance of Emile Zola's classic novel Nana with its gaslight glimpses into the backstage world of Parisian theatres, 'Joie de vivre' and courtesans' salons.

Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd announces the cast and creative team for Dracula, the Original Vampire Play, the second production in the 'Alley Theatre @ UH' season.
