The BLUEBARN Theatre launches its 2013-2014 Season with GOD OF CARNAGE by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton. The production opens Thursday September 26th and runs four weekends, closing Friday October 18th. BLUEBARN Producing Artistic Director Susan Clement- Toberer directs, with scenic design by Martin Scott Marchitto, costumes by Lindsay Pape, lighting design by Carol Wisner, sound design by Larry Dunn, and properties design by Amy Reiner. Shows run Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays October 6th and 13th at 6 p.m. There is no show on Saturday October 19th, which is the evening of the BLUEBARN's 25th Anniversary Bash.

The cast for the World Premiere of Stephen Ward, directed by Richard Eyre, will comprise Alexander Hanson as Stephen Ward, Charlotte Spencer as Christine Keeler, Charlotte Blackledge as Mandy Rice Davies, Anthony Calfas Lord Astor, Daniel Flynn as John Profumo, Joanna Riding as Valerie Hobson, Ian Conningham as Ivanov, Chris Howell as Murray, Ricardo Coke Thomas as Lucky Gordon and Wayne Robinson as Johnny Edgecomp. When The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's producers were working on putting together the 2013 Season, they decided to include shows that were hits both on the stage and the silver screen. 2013 became the year that Broadway and Hollywood met at the Frederick dinner theater, the area's only theater open and producing shows 52 weeks of the year. 1993's rarely produced Sunset Boulevard is a flawed, somewhat boring musical play that satisfies best with the casting of an actress of great star quality as Norma Desmond, one whose face could have convincingly lit up a silent film screen. MTW has found its star in Valerie Perri, and under Larry Raben's strong, resourceful staging, Sunset Boulevard is 5-star entertainment.
