Actors of Dionysus take Sophocles' ancient Greek classic Antigone and place it into a dystopian world where fate is written in code and drones flock across the skies. Directed by aod's Artistic Director Tamsin Shasha and written by British-American playwright Christopher Adams (Lynchburg and Haunts), Antigone will tour the UK from 14th September 2017.

Punts is a hilarious and moving new play by Sarah Page about a young man's sexual awakening and its effect on those who orchestrated it. Drawn from the playwright's interviews with sex workers, Punts - produced by Kuleshov Theatre (BU21, Cans) - explores love in all its complex and contradictory forms.

Lunar River in association with Mack Sennett Studios has announced the world premiere of Salome, a radically queer reinvention of the ancient tale, written by Christopher Adams-Cohen and directed by Patrick Kennelly. Salome will run for four weeks only with two preview performances on January 31 and February 4 at 8pm. Opening is set for Friday, February 5 at 8pm. Salome will run through February 28 at The Basement at Mack Sennett Studios.

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for The Old Globe/University of San Diego Graduate Theatre Program presentation of William Shakespeare's Measure for Measure, running Nov. 10 - Nov. 18 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.
