On February 23, 24 and 25 Lyrics & Lyricists tours Miss Peggy Lee's hip musical landscape with guest artistic director Billy Stritch and vocalists Barbara Fasano, La Tanya Hall and Gabrielle Stravelli. Cabaret legend Marilyn Maye, who frequently includes Peggy Lee classics in her shows, joins the show as a special guest.

'From Broadway With Love: A Benefit Concert For Sandy Hook' will take place 7:00 pm on January 28, 2013, at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, Connecticut. The evening will be a concert of love and healing for the Newtown community from the composers, musicians and more than 100 stars of Broadway together with over 100 students from several Newtown dance groups and the Newtown High School Chamber Choir. All proceeds and donations will go directly to United Way of Western Connecticut's Sandy Hook School Support Fund. 'SING OUT, RAISE HOPE,' a benefit concert featuring the nation's premier vocal groups and Broadway star CHRISTINE EBERSOLE, will take place tonight, January 19, 2013 at The Town Hall in New York City. Presented by the Association of Yale Alumni and the Yale Whiffenpoofs Alumni Association the evening will benefit The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (www.pedaids.org). The Yale Whiffenpoofs,the NYU N'Harmonics, The Young People's Chorus of New York City-- and special guest Broadway Legend Christine Ebersole - will perform a cappella and choral renditions of American jazz classics, contemporary pop-hits, holiday favorites, and more.

Trinity Repertory Company announced today that celebrated stage and screen actor Kate Burton will be honored with the 2013 Pell Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Arts at the 17th annual Pell Awards to be held on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Trinity Rep. The annual fundraising event will be co-chaired by Joe & Michele Madden and Elizabeth 'Beppie' Huidekoper. Mrs. Nuala Pell will serve as the event's honorary chair.

On December 14, 2012, tragedy struck Sandy Hook Elementary School and our nation mourned with the residents of Newtown, Connecticut. As the town slowly attempts to recover, Broadway stars, producers, writers, and directors will lend their voices in support. 'From Broadway with Love: A Benefit Concert For Sandy Hook' will take place on January 28, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, CT, 20 minutes from Newtown.

NBC and Columbia Records announced that the soundtrack for Bombshell, the musical within NBC's Golden Globe-nominated series television hit 'SMASH' (Tuesdays, 10-11pm ET), will be released on February 12. Bombshell is available now for pre-order.

As expected (thankfully) 2012 provided Southern California audiences--specifically here in Orange County and nearby Los Angeles and San Diego--a season full of outstanding, remarkable theater offerings from touring companies, impressive regional productions, and even some tiny black box theaters. Celebrity Series of Boston will present An Evening with Christine Ebersole on Saturday, January 26, 8pm at Sanders Theatre, Memorial Hall, Harvard University, 45 Quincy Street, Cambridge. This is the Celebrity Series of Boston debut for Christine Ebersole.

Feinstein's at Loews Regency closes its Fall 2012 season with the return of the club's founder Michael Feinstein and two-time Tony Award winning Broadway and TV star Christine Ebersole.
