Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director of The Public Theater, has announced the Broadway cast of HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical. The new 'Tribe' will debut on Tuesday, March 9, at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street, NYC).

The Tony Awards Administration Committee met today for the second time this season to decide the eligibility of nine Broadway productions for the 2010 American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards®, presented by The Broadway League and The American Theatre Wing. The Tony Awards Administration Committee will meet a total of four times throughout the 2009-2010 season to decide the eligibility for the 2010 Tony Awards.

Broadway Musicals of 1927 kicks off the Town Hall's 10th Anniversary season of the critically acclaimed Broadway By The Year® series on Monday, February 22nd at 8PM. Alexander Gemignani also will star in and direct the show. Finian's Rainbow star Kate Baldwin; triple threat Melinda Sullivan; and cabaret star Carole Bufford join the cast which includes Marc Kudisch (9 to 5); Chad Kimball (Memphis); and from Ragtime; Quentin Earl Darrington, Bobby Steggert, Ron Bohmer, and Christiane Noll. Christopher Fitzgerald (Finian's Rainbow) acclaimed hoofer, Kendrick Jones are also featured.

Seth Rudetsky posted a video follow up to Christiane Noll's performance of 'Back to Before' on his show Siriux XM Live on Broadway. 'At my Sirius/XM show, I asked Christiane ("Mother" in RAGTIME) to take the end of "Back to Before" up to an E instead of just a C sharp. Of course, she then interpolated an F sharp as well. Brava.'

Seth Rudetsky posted a video of Christiane Noll singing 'Back to Before' on his show, Sirius XM Live on Broadway. Rudetsky notes, 'Here is Christiane singing her big 11 O'Clock number from RAGTIME the week before it closed. Watch this and then watch the video below with the ending she improvised!'

Before the show closes however, it will be filmed for the Lincoln Center Archives on Friday night, January 8, 2010.

Due to popular demand and a swell of strong ticket sales following an initial closing announcement yesterday, the critically acclaimed new production of Terrence McNally, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's Tony Award® winning musical RAGTIME will now play its final performance on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre one week later on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. following 28 preview and 65 regular performances.
