Arts advocate and philanthropist Howard J. Aibel of Weston will be honored with the Westport Country Playhouse Leadership Award at the theater's annual fundraising gala on the evening of Monday, September 16.

Joining Melissa Joan Hart for the event are Joanna Gleason, Brian J. Carter, and Chris Sarandon. The reading, set for Monday, July 29, at 7 p.m., is directed is Anne Keefe, Playhouse artistic advisor. Tickets are $100, $50, and $25. Tickets include the playreading and post-performance 'Meet the Cast' reception.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long present the world premiere of Buyer & Cellar, written by Jonathan Tolins, directed by Stephen Brackett, and performed by Michael Urie.
