The new American musical Hands on a Hardbody just celebrated opening night last night, March 21, at Broadway's Brooks AtkinsonTheatre (256 West 47th Street). The cast and creative team gathered at the Roseland Ballroom with their real-life counterparts from the documentary on which the musical is based. Kristin Chenoweth was in Nashville last night, performing her critically acclaimed concert act just for me-oh, sure, there were another 2,000 or so people in the audience, as well, who thought she was singing just for them-but she and I both know the truth. She looked straight into my heart and sang every one of my favorite songs and, in the process, she touched my heart in a way only someone who really knows me can do.

Jam Theatricals has announced that the cancelled Kristin Chenoweth concert that was originally scheduled for June 16, has been rescheduled for June 29. The star had to postpone the show due to illness. Tickets for the June 16 show can be refunded, or used for the new performance.
