The Encore Musical Theatre Company kicks off a month of joyful seasonal events with MERRY & BRIGHT, a delightful holiday concert starring Broadway's GEOFF AND CHELSEA PACKARD. In what promises to be a fun and festive evening, this talented couple will perform many holiday favorites, such as It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, O Holy Night and Winter Wonderland.

The 133rd spring season of The Boston Pops Orchestra at Symphony Hall is winding down, but the final week is a whirlwind of activity, culminating in three performances of WEST SIDE STORY: In Concert, and an appearance by two of the stars of the groundbreaking HAMILTON: AN AMERICAN MUSICAL. Tony Award-winning actress Renee Elise Goldsberry and her special guest, Tony-nominated Phillipa Soo, stepped in to replace Leslie Odom, Jr. (another HAMILTON alum) when a scheduling conflict made him unavailable.

This February, Feinstein's/54 Below celebrates the winter season's most anticipated evenings with special celebrations that will delight lovers (and their foes), thrill film aficionados, and provide an alternative for those looking to escape Super Bowl Sunday.

Lee Roy Reams, star of 42nd Street, Beauty and the Beast, The Producers, and countless others, will star in Love! I Hear!: Broadway's Love Letter To Valentine's Day, on Tuesday, February 14th, 2017  (7:00pm & 9:30 pm) at Feinstein's/54 Below. The show is directed and produced by Robert W. Schneider, who produced last year's critically acclaimed Valentine's Day show, I Do! I Do!

Despite a recent report in Time Out New York- which stated that Beautiful would play its final performance this December- BroadwayWorld has learned that the show has no plans to leave Broadway anytime soon.

National Alliance for Musical Theatre (Betsy King Militello, Executive Director) is thrilled to announce the cast for the SONGWRITERS SHOWCASE and the SONGWRITERS CABARET at the 27th ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS on Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16. Both events take place at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). In person registration for industry members will be available on Thursday at 9:30 AM at New World Stages (340 West 50 Street). Broadway For All, a NYC not-for-profit that offers tuition-free training in the performing arts to promising middle and high school students, is accepting applications for its summer conservatory program through Sunday, April 19. The summer conservatory will run in a convenient Midtown location on weekdays from June 29 to August 5 from 9:45 AM - 4:00 PM.
