The Alden in McLean, Virginia, announces its 2013-2014 season of international touring artists. Season highlights will include the return of the Alden's silent film with live music series, performances by the American Shakespeare Center on Tour, Theatre Unspeakable's 'Superman 2050,' and a rare chance to hear Broadway baritone Brian Stokes Mitchell in the intimate, 383-seat performing arts venue.

Profiles in History, run by Joe Maddalena, is proud to announce that a collection of iconic cultural memorabilia will be up for sale at their Hollywood Auction, July 28th and July 29th in Los Angeles. Also of important note, Profiles in History's Milton Greene Collection auction is this Saturday, July 27th. It will have over 75,000 photographs and negatives, of those, 4,000 are Marilyn Monroe, all going with copyright. Tuesday, July 30th, is the auction of the Dreier Collection Part II, followed by their Animation Auction on Wednesday, July 31st. Highlights from the Hollywood Auction are listed below.

The National Gallery of Victoria will stage the first Australian survey of fashion's most influential photographer Edward Steichen in October. The exhibition Edward Steichen and Art Deco Fashion will feature over 200 of Steichen's original vintage photographs, drawn from the vast Condé Nast Archive through the Foundation for the Exhibition of Photography, alongside more than forty stunning Art Deco fashion garments and accessories that showcase the glamour and modernity of the period.

'Josh Groban: All That Echoes Artist Cut' opened in over 500 cinemas across the world last night. The 100-minute documentary was filmed mostly at a February 4 concert in The Allen Room at Lincoln Center in New York City. The film was a magnificent way to bring Groban up close and personal to his fans, and music lovers in all parts of the planet.

Since bursting onto the scene in 1997 with the jazzy 'Sympathique' (beloved for its slacker-anthem lyrics 'Je ne veux pas travailler'), Portland ensemble Pink Martini has made its mark with an upbeat multilingual repertoire of pop, classical, jazz and big band. Fronted by pianist Thomas Lauderdale, the band has performed with more than 50 orchestras, and collaborated with a wild array of artists, from Rufus Wainwright, Carol Channing and Chavela Vargas to Japanese icon Saori Yuki, filmmaker Gus Van Sant and the cast of SESAME STREET. Singer Storm Large will be performing in Boise.
