The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents, and marketing firms, will hold another in its series of seminars focused on the culture, business and history of Off Broadway on Sunday, December 2nd.

ITHT is has announced the triumphant return of the incredibly gifted actress and singer, Carole Demas in a concert created to benefit Irvington Town Hall Theater. Star of Broadway, television, cabaret, concerts and more, Ms. Demas, best known as the originator of 'Sandy' in Broadway's Grease, was Luisa in NYC's The Fantasticks, introduced the title role in Stephen Schwartz's The Baker's Wife and starred in TV's iconic Magic Garden, PBS's Great Performances and other shows.

Urban Stages, in association with producer/director/lyricist Peter Napolitano, announces a series of musical evenings entitled WINTER RHYTHMS 2012, beginning on Tuesday, December 4 and running through Friday, December 15, 2012 at Urban Stages Theatre (259 West 30th Street).

Kate Feiffer, author of No Go Sleep!, will join Alyssa Capucilli, author of the Biscuit series, and dozens more children's book authors and illustrators at Children's Book Day, a one-day gala today, Sept. 15, devoted to children's literature. In all, more than 60 children's book authors and illustrators will take part in this 12-6 p.m. event which is filled with readings, demonstrations, magic, music, and book signings at Washington Irving's Sunnyside. So many cabaret shows, so little time . . . to write reviews that is.
