'Princess & The Frog,' 'Precious' & 'An Education' Recognized with Producers Guild Award Noms.

This morning, the Producers Guild announced its nominees for the 21st annual PGA Awards, including the 10 nominees up for the prestigious Producers Guild Darryl F. Zanuck Producer of the Year award. The award, now in its 21st year, honors producers of the standout film of the season. Among the nominees are the producers of An Education starring Carey Mulligan, Lee Daniels and colleagues for Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire, and Peter Del Vecho for The Princess and the Frig starring Broadway's Anika Noni Rose and Jennifer Cody.
Halle Berry, Colin Farrell & Matthew Fox Now Among the 67th Annual Golden Globe Presenters

Halle Berry, Colin Farrell and Matthew Fox will join the previously announced Julia Robert, Jennifer Aniston and Mickey Rourke as presenters at 'The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards' on Sunday, January 17. The show, hosted by Ricky Gervais, will be broadcast live coast to coast on NBC (5 to 8 pm PT, 8 to 11 pm ET) from The Beverly Hilton.

Founded in 1975, The Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA) is comprised of Los Angeles-based, professional film critics working in the Los Angeles print and electronic media. Each December, LAFCA members vote on the year's Achievement Awards, honoring screen excellence on both sides of the camera. Plaques of recognition are then presented to winners during LAFCA's annual awards ceremony, held in mid-January.

The Washington, D.C. Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) today announced their 2009 winners, awarding Best Film to Up in the Air. The Golden Satellite Nominations were announced today and the film version of Maury Yeston's 'Nine' received 11 nominations, inclduing Best Motion Picture and Best Director for Rob Marshall. In addition, television favorite 'Glee' received 5 nominations including Best Television Series, Best Actor in a Series for Matthew Morrison and Best Actress in a Series Lea Michele.
Broadway's Cooper, Moore, and Mulligan to be Honored by Hollywood Film Festival

Broadway's Bradley Cooper, Julianne Moore, and Carey Mulligan are set to receive special honors from the Hollywood Film Festival at the Beverly Hilton on October 26th. Cooper will receive the Hollywood Comedy Award ("The Hangover"), Moore will receive the Hollywood Supporting Actress Award (for "A Single Man," among other films), and Mulligan will receive the Hollywood Breakthrough Actress Award for her performance in "An Education."
