After a sold-out stint at The Cutting Room, the BROADWAY SINGS concert series will reprise their latest installment, Broadway Sings Bruno Mars, at the Highline Ballroom on July 20th at 7pm. Some of Broadway's current, brightest talents will again sing completely brand new arrangements of the hits of funk superstar, accompanied by a full band playing original orchestrations. Previous artists honored in the series include Adele, Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Justin Timberlake, and P!NK. This October, the series will continue with Broadway Sings Sara Bareilles.?     

Following a two-and-a-half week summer concert tour of England and France, Electric Youth (EY) will perform two free outdoor concerts on Thursday, July 23, from 6:30-8 p.m. at Norfolk Town Hill and on Wednesday, July 29, from 6-8 p.m. on Franklin Town Common.

Tony Award nominee Jarrod Spector will bring his acclaimed show, A Little Help from My Friends, to Feinstein's at the Nikko for two performances - today, June 25 (8 p.m.) and tomorrow, June 26 (8 p.m.).  Featuring a full band and back-up singers, Jarrod takes the audience on a joyous ride of great songs everyone knows and tells a vivid story about his time as the iconic Frankie Valli in the hit Broadway musical, Jersey Boys.

According to Variety, 29 honorees from the worlds of motion pictures, television, live theatre, radio and recording have been tapped to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this year. Among them are Broadway's KINKY BOOTS co-creators Harvey Fierstein & Cyndi Lauper, as well as ELEPHANT MAN star Bradley Cooper.

Last week, twenty of the brightest talents on Broadway were featured in Broadway Sings Bruno Mars, the latest concert in the Broadway Sings concert series. This July, producer Corey Mach (Godspell, Wicked) and music director Joshua Stephen Kartes will present an encore performance of Broadway Sings Bruno Mars at the Highline Ballroom. During the second night of the Final Phase of TELEMUNDO's “La Voz Kids” (The Voice Kids), the 18 finalists were once again welcomed to the stage at Universal Orlando Resort by hosts Daisy Fuentes and Jorge Bernal, and their Coaches Daddy Yankee, Natalia Jimenez and Pedro Fernandez. 12-year-old Dominican singer and second season winner Amanda Mena returned to the stage for the premiere of “Alma Gemela” (Soulmate), her first single under Universal Music Latin Entertainment, the recording contract granted as part of her winning prize. The 18 finalists also joined her on stage to perform “Uptown Funk” (Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars).  Following the show, the music video of Amanda's “Alma Gemela”, premiered on “Suelta la Sopa Extra.”

The voting results from the first night of the Final Phase were revealed, and six contestants went home after heartbreaking goodbyes, and twelve "voices", six males and six females, remain in the competition.
