On Sunday, December 18 the Schimmel Center presented Emmy® Award winner and Grammy®, Tony® and Drama Desk nominated Rob Mathes in a Holiday concert that featured musicians from SNL, David Letterman's Late Show, and Paul Simon's band. Powerhouse vocalists Vaneese Thomas and James "D-Train" Williams rounded out the ensemble. Rob Mathes is known as a Musical producer, arranger and director for artists such as Carly Simon, Rod Stewart, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, Aretha Franklin, Beyonce , Bono, Elton John, Yo-Yo Ma and Renee Fleming. In 2009 he musical directed President Barak Obama's inauguration which was one of the most viewed events in the 21st Century.

The 10-day Light of Day Winterfest will bring over 150 music acts to 30 venues in three New Jersey cities, New York City, and Philadelphia, January 6-16, following holiday season tours of Europe and Canada.
