On Sunday, November 6, 2011, Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU), now celebrating its 20th year, will host the 2011 TRU Love Benefit at Caroline's on Broadway (1626 Broadway between 49th and 50th ). The Benefit was created to honor those who have lent standout service to the theatrical community. This year's award recipients are producer Bruce Lazarus; Ben Cameron and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation; and Lou Rodgers of Golden Fleece Limited.

Theater Resources Unlimited opens up the possibilities for tomorrow's productions with RAISING MONEY FOR THEATER: How, Who and When to Ask, an all-day intensive workshop about many crucial aspects of raising money for theater. The workshop takes place on Saturday, January 22, 2011 from 10am-6pm at The Players Theatre, 3rd Floor Loft, 115 MacDougal Street (below W. 3rd Street), NYC. Workshop fee is $175 ($25 off for members of TRU).

The Off Broadway Alliance, the organization of Off Broadway producers, general managers, venue owners, press agents and marketing firms, will hold the fourth in its series of seminars focused on the culture, business and history of Off Broadway. The seminar, titled 'Off Broadway Financials: How To Raise Money and Where To Spend It', will feature producer/general manager Jamie Cesa (Wishful Drinking, Love Janis, 21 Dog Years), producer/general manager Ken Davenport (Oleanna, Blithe Spirit, Altar Boyz), Hugh Hysell, president of HHC Marketing, and producer/entertainment attorney Bruce Lazarus (Blue Man Group, The Lion King, Shakespeare's R&J).
