Second Stage Theatre Announces 2013 Uptown Summer Season: THE TUTORS and MURDER FOR TWO

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) has announced a world premiere play along with a New York premiere new musical which will be presented as part of the company's eleventh annual Second Stage Theatre Uptown Series this summer: Erica Lipez's The Tutors, directed by Thomas Kail and Murder For Two with Book and Music by Joe Kinosian and Book and Lyrics by Kellen Blair.

Primary Stages continues their 28th season with the 20th anniversary revival of All in The Timing by David Ives. Directed by Tony Award-winner John Rando (Urinetown; A Christmas Story, The Musical), the production features Eric Clem (Blue Man Group), Carson Elrod (Peter and the Starcatcher), Jenn Harris (Silence! The Musical), Liv Rooth (Venus in Fur), and Matthew Saldivar (Peter and the Starcatcher). All in The Timingruns through March 17 at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. Costs of Living, with book, music and lyrics by Timothy Huang, was a selection of Stephen Schwartz's 2012 ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop and a 2012 American Harmony Prize finalist.
