Stage 773 has announced the line-up for their second annual Chicago Nerd Comedy Festival, running from March 19 through March 22. Nerd Fest stems from the popularity of HEY, I'M A BIG FAN, a series of fun, free monthly fan fiction events produced by Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont. The Chicago Nerd Comedy Festival celebrates all that is the Chicago nerd comedy scene; from Stand Up to Improv to one-woman puppet shows, nerds will unite for one glorious weekend in Chicago to laugh, pay homage, and perhaps worship their favorite genres of nerd-ness.

The Cupid Players of Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont, will host a special Valentine's Day performance of Cupid in your Pants on Friday, February 14 at 8 p.m. for couples looking for a funny, exciting night of musical sketch comedy. The Valentine's Day package is $35 per person and includes the Cupid show, a special Goodie 'V-Bag' and a champagne toast. Based off Cupid Has A Heart On: A Musical Guide to Relationships, The Cupid Players put a romantic spin on the special performance with songs - old and new - and hilarious Valentine's Day skits. This weekend, September 29, was THE FUN HOUSE event to benefit Stage 773 and celebrate Chicago's local vibrant arts and cultural community. The evening's events will be emceed by John Gerbin who portrayed Buck on NBC's popular sci-fi drama Heroes. The Live Auctioneer is prominent Chicago comedian Tim Soszko. Belmont, puts a spin on the traditional fundraiser with THE FUN HOUSE to benefit the not-for-profit Chicago-based company on September 29 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The evening's events will be emceed by John Gerbin who portrayed Buck on NBC's popular sci-fi drama Heroes. The Live Auctioneer is prominent Chicago comedian Tim Soszko. The most creative event of its kind, THE FUN HOUSE will feature interactive games of chance, jugglers, impersonators, funhouse mirrors, lasers, drummers, live musicians, opera singers, comedians, magicians, and a barbershop quartet, Dance Crash and Camp Rhythm. Tickets for the event begin at only $35 and all proceeds from the event will directly benefit Stage 773.

Storytown has announced that Stage 773 will be its new home starting March 2. The show will perform every Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. as part of an open run at the theater, 1225 W. Belmont Ave.

The Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival, an annual event that celebrates the best in local, national and international sketch comedy, runs January 3 - 13, 2013. All performances take place at Stage 773,1225 W. Belmont. The festival's performance dates and times are: Thursdays at 8, 9 and 10 p.m., Fridays at 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 p.m., Saturdays at 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 p.m., and Sundays at 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 8 and 9 p.m. Tickets are $14 each Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays and $15 each on Saturdays.
