National Geographic Channel announced today the greenlight of a second season of the critically acclaimed global series BREAKTHROUGH, executive produced by Imagine Entertainment and Asylum Entertainment.

Sony Pictures Entertainment, IMAX Corporation (NYSE: IMAX), and Imagine Entertainment today announced that Inferno, the latest film in the Dan Brown (Da Vinci Code) franchise, will be digitally re-mastered into the immersive IMAX format. The film, starring Tom Hanks as Dr. Robert Langdon and directed by Ron Howard, will be released into IMAX theatres worldwide coinciding with the film's general release dates. Inferno which continues the $1.2 billion franchise, following the hits The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons will be released domestically on Oct. 28.

Following TV One's record-breaking Memorial Day Weekend Marathon (May 28-30), which reached 7 Million Unique Viewers 2+, television's blockbuster hit, award-winning and most nominated series EMPIRE begins its regular time slot tonight, Thursday, June 9.
