Northlight Theatre Presents Chicago Premiere Of THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES 9/17-10/25

Northlight Theatre, under the direction of Artistic Director BJ Jones and Executive Director Timothy J. Evans, opens its 35th Season with the hit musical The Marvelous Wonderettes, written and directed by Roger Bean with music direction by Brian Baker and choreography by Janet Miller. The Chicago premiere runs September 17-October 25, 2009, at Northlight Theatre, 9501 Skokie Blvd in Skokie.

The Tenth Annual Cabaret Night gala to benefit Hershey Area Playhouse will feature Hershey natives and Broadway performers Jane Brockman and David Michael Felty, along with his wife, professional entertainer Jennifer Felty. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Hershey Country Club.

Terry Farrell And Brian Baker Star In LOVE LETTERS 2/19-22

This February, TV celebrities and new Hershey area residents Terry Farrell ('Becker', 'Star Trek: Deep Space Nine' and 'Back To School') and Brian Baker (best known as 'The SPRINT PCS Guy') will star in the Hershey Area Playhouse production of A.R. Gurney's Love Letters. The production will be the first collaborative project, and Playhouse debut, for this real-life husband and wife. Farrell began her career as an Elite Fashion Model, and was featured on the covers of Elle, Vogue, Mademoiselle, and Self.

LA Drama Critics Awards Held on 3/17

The 39th annual Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards will be handed out on March 17 at North Hollywood's El Portal Theatre. The awards, recognizing excellence in Southern California theatre, including Los Angeles and Orange County, will be hosted by Jason Graae.
