Tickets are now on sale via Audience Rewards for TRIP OF LOVE, a new dance musical spectacle inspired by and set to the biggest hit songs of the 1960s. Created, directed and choreographed by James Walski, TRIP OF LOVE will open this fall at Stage 42, formerly The Little Shubert Theater (422 West 42nd St). TRIP OF LOVE begins previews on Saturday, September 26 2015, and officially opens on October 18, 2015. The exclusive Audience Rewards pre-sale begins today, July 23, and goes through Sunday, July 26. NBC has announced that the cast of Broadway's ON THE TOWN will perform live on the plaza on Monday May 18th.

Nominated for four 2015 Tony Awards, On the Town is still going strong at the Lyric Theatre, but performances May 7-12 were canceled so that the theatre could host NYC upfronts for Univision Communications Inc. Performances will resume this afternoon at 2pm, May 13. Welcome back to the ship!

Nominated for four 2015 Tony Awards, On the Town is still going strong at the Lyric Theatre, but this week the cast begins a pre-scheduled week off. BroadwayWorld has learned that performances May 7-12 have been canceled so that the theatre can host NYC upfronts for Univision Communications Inc. Performances will resume on May 13.

BC Beat, the bi-annual choreography showcase established to support, explore and experience innovative theatrical dance, announces a line up for Monday May 18th featuring nine choreographers with work performed by a company of 40 artists from Broadway's biggest hits.  The evening kicks off at 7pm with music by DJ Justin Johnston (RENT) at Cielo (18 Little W. 12th Street).

ON THE TOWN's Alysha Umphress and Jay Armstrong Johnson stopped by this morning's TODAY to perform the number 'I Can Cook Too' from the hit Broadway musical.

New York City Ballet principal dancer Tiler Peck will step into the role of 'Ivy Smith' in the new Broadway revival of On The Town this March for six performances only, while her fellow New York City Ballet principal dancer, and sister-in law, Megan Fairchild is on vacation. Peck will play the role at the following performances: March 3rd at 7pm, March 4th at 2pm and 8pm, March 14th at 2pm and 8pm, and March 15th at 3pm.

The new Broadway revival of On The Town was recorded in November 2014 for a two-disc cast album to be released by PS Classics. On The Town, which features a book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, music by Leonard Bernstein, and is based on an idea by Jerome Robbins, is currently running at Broadway's Lyric Theatre (213 W 42nd St, New York, NY 10036). The album is out today, March 3, at www.PSClassics.com.
