The 2015/2016 KeyBank Broadway at The Paramount season brings another year of superb entertainment to The Paramount Theatre, with a roster of shows that spans the ages, featuring familiar titles and brand new productions. The 2015/2016 Season starts with an all-time favorite, ANNIE, followed by the original new musical IF/THEN, a story about living in New York today and the possible paths one's life could follow.
Greenwich House Music School to Host UNCHARTED Concert Series, 3/12-4/30

Following the success of its regularly sold-out 2014 performance season, Greenwich House Music School, located at 46 Barrow Street in the heart of the West Village, is proud to announce Uncharted, a concert series featuring high-profile local artists debuting first-time performances of new work or new collaborations. The Uncharted concert season will cover a broad selection of genres, from jazz to R&B, folk to pop, performance art to global rock. Performances for Uncharted will take place every Thursday from March 12 to April 30. Concerts are staged at Greenwich House Music School's Renee Weiler Concert Hall, an intimate 100-capacity room featuring excellent acoustics, a neighborhood atmosphere and a pair of Steinway grand pianos.

In its fourth year, presented by AARP, The Outstanding Filipino Americans in New York (TOFA-NY) Awards, the grandest celebration that caps the monthlong Filipino American History Month in New York City, has announced today that Filipino-American EGOT holder Bobby Lopez ('Frozen,' 'The Book of Mormon'); fashion designer and philanthropist Josie Natori; Dean of Academic Affairs at Columbia University Sheila Coronel; the people behind Fiesta In America, an annual trade and cultural expo; and the medical mission volunteers of Philippine Medical Association in America (PMAA) will be feted with the highest honors--The Heritage Awards--at TOFA-NY Awards ceremony, which will be held at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall (881 7th Ave, New York, NY) on Saturday, October 25, at 7 p.m.

Classical and Broadway musician Peter Sachon and Carbon Cello Productions, in conjunction with New York Comic Con 2014 and the first annual New York Super Week Festival, will present a unique concert experience, MYTHOS, a showcase of great music from across the spectrum of modern orchestral genres - music from the concert stage, television and film, and video games - featuring the all-star orchestra The Third Estate, conducted by Grammy Award nominee, Austin Wintory, composer of Journey , as well as vocalists from Choral Chameleon.

This year the Lilly Awards will celebrate women of distinction in musical theater in a special cabaret at West Bank Cafe (407 W 42nd Street, NYC), following the awards ceremony, which is set for Monday, June 2, at Playwrights Horizons. The cabaret will feature Kelli O'Hara, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Rebecca Luker, Kate Baldwin, Kenita Miller, The Broadway Boys, Graham Rowat, Katie Thompson, Lauren Pritchard, Taylor Noble, Jay Armstrong Jonson, The Skivvies (Lauren Molina & Nick Cearley) and Jason Robert Brown.

Looking for the next Sondheim -- or we should say Bobby Lopez (who wrote 'Frozen' and 'The Book of Mormon')...? Maybe the newest voice in musical theatre just won the 2014 New Voices Project, sponsored by New Musicals Initiative in Los Angeles. Three talented young musical theatre writers will have selections from their new musicals showcased as part of the New Musical Initiative's annual GOT MUSICAL concert at the Colony Theatre in Burbank on Tuesday, May 6, 2014.
