Eliza Gilkyson will be playing a concert in support of her new Red House Records release, The Nocturne Diaries, the first new album in three years from Grammy-nominated, Austin Music Hall of Fame member. Produced and recorded in her hometown of Austin with her son, Cisco Ryder, The Nocturne Diaries is a restless contemplative work inspired by the converging forces of her highest hopes and darkest fears. The songs range from roots rockers to a haunting version of the folk classic 'Fast Freight' written by her father, Terry Gilkyson.

Bono Joins One Direction in Band Aid's Christmas Single for Ebola

Popular boy band One Direction has joined forces with other British singers, including U2's Bono, for a special Christmas recording. Sponsored by Band Aid, the artists will cover 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' to raise money for Ebola relief in Africa. The song was originally recorded when philanthropist Bob Geldof brought together many popular artists- including Bono- to aid in the Ethiopia famine relief, also sponsored by Band Aid.

The Belgrade Theatre has announced that Charley 'Aitch' Bembridge, founding member of The Selecter will join the cast of Bob Eaton's 2 Tone musical Three Minute Heroes this October. The former Selecter drummer and 2 Tone pioneer will join up-and-coming cast members Joseph Eaton-Kent, Conor Nolan, Sheldon Green, Elizah Jackson and Sarah Workman live on the B2 stage as drummer to the production's live ska band which also features Joey Hickman on Keyboard/Trombone, Dan McIntyre on Guitar and Michael Searl on Bass.
