AN AMERICAN IN PARIS Begins Previews at the Palace Tonight

The new Broadway musical, An American in Paris begins previews tonight, March 13 and will open on Sunday, April 12 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street.)

SKYLIGHT Sets Broadway Rush Policy; Previews Begin Tomorrow

A $37 rush ticket policy will be launched tomorrow, Friday, March 13th when Carey Mulligan and Bill Night reprise their critically acclaimed West End performances in the hit London production of David Hare's SKYLIGHT at the John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Stephen Daldry. A limited number of rush tickets, for theatregoers aged 30 and under, will be available the day of the performance at the box office of the Golden Theatre. The $37 rush tickets will be limited to 2 per person with valid photo ID, and will be available when the box office opens.

The continuation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's most beloved musical is set to open in Germany this fall. LOVE NEVER DIES, or LIEBE STIRBT NIE, will premiere at Hamburg's Stage Operetta House, reuniting the 2011 creative team from the Australian production. 'I am very pleased that Simon Phillips' production of LOVE NEVER DIES will come to Hamburg,' says Andrew Lloyd Webber. 'This is truly one of the best performances I've ever seen from one of my works.'

Original Stars of Disney's ALADDIN Will Remain on Broadway Into 2016

Disney's Aladdin, the Tony Award-winning new musical comedy based on the Academy Award-winning animated film, is pleased to announce that original stars Adam Jacobs (Aladdin), Tony Award nominee Jonathan Freeman (Jafar), Tony Award winner James Monroe Iglehart (Genie) and Courtney Reed (Jasmine) have extended their contracts with the production through February 21, 2016. The four actors have led the 'sublime' (NY1) Aladdin company since its pilot production at Seattle's Fifth Avenue Theatre in the summer of 2011 and garnered critical acclaim when the Broadway production opened on March 20, 2014.

I never saw Once, now playing at The Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto, during the National Tour's engagement here last year. After attending the media opening of the all-Canadian production Sunday afternoon, I can see why a return engagement was needed. Audiences will fall in love with this show, over and over again.
