Tonight, April 29th, at New York City's Pierre Hotel, the National Corporate Theatre Fund (NCTF) will honor Vanessa Williams, American Express and five resident theatres celebrating their 50th anniversary - Actors Theatre of Louisville, Guthrie Theater, Hartford Stage, Seattle Repertory Theatre and Trinity Repertory Company - at NCTF's annual Chairman's Awards Gala. Actor George Takei, star of the Broadway-bound musical Allegiance, emcees the event.

It was announced today that Billy Crudup ('Almost Famous,' 'Watchmen'), Anton Yelchin ('Star Trek,' 'Terminator Salvation,' 'Like Crazy'), Selena Gomez ('Spring Breakers') and Laurence Fishburne ('The Matrix' trilogy, 'Contagion, 'Man of Steel') will star alongside William H. Macy ('Fargo') and Felicity Huffman ('Desperate Housewives') in Unified Pictures' music drama 'Rudderless.'

The 52nd Street Project makes a difference in the lives of countless Hell's Kitchen (Clinton) kids by pairing them with theater professionals who mentor them through the creation of original theater. Perhaps the most poignant presentations made by The 52nd Street Project are those in its semi-annual Playmaking series, which features the Project's youngest Hell's Kitchen mentees-ten year-olds who have just begun their theatrical education-writing for accomplished professional actors and director-dramaturges, and revealing their work to a public audience for the first time. Reed Birney, Billy Crudup, Peter Dinklage and Myra Lucretia Taylor, along with other accomplished actors, will perform in Stand by Me: The Reliable Plays, the Project's newest Playmaking show, Stand by Me: The Reliable Plays.

BIG FISH, a new musical based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and the 2003 Columbia Pictures film written by John August, will offer $29 tickets to college students for its first four performances, April 2-5, 2013. According to the duo's website, Zooey Deschanel's She & Him will release their third studio album of original material with Merge Records this spring. Called 'Volume 3', the album will be available in stores and online May 7 (North America) and May 13 (UK / Europe). She & Him's North American Summer 2013 tour will kick off June 13 in Nashville, TN, at the Ryman Auditorium. This tour will see the duo - backed by a full band - playing legendary venues including Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl and New York's Central Park Summerstage.
