It's an evening of cabaret at The Never Get! The York Theatre Company will present An Intimate Night at The York, celebrating the lush history of New York City cabaret with a special 'intimate' evening with commentary by special guest James Gavin (Intimate Nights: The Golden Age of New York Cabaret), interspersed with performances by award-winning cabaret artists including Natalie Douglas, Shana Farr, Marissa Mulder, T. Oliver Reid, Steve Ross, KT Sullivan, Bill Zeffiro, and more! 

Sierra Rein launched her much-anticipated debut solo cabaret show RUNNING IN PLACE at The Laurie Beechman Theater in April and May and earned raves for a performance that weaved together American Songbook gems, contemporary Broadway and pop, and new cabaret classics, in an inspiring rundown on dreaming against all odds. Directed by James Beaman with Musical Direction by Bill Zeffiro (with Matt Scharfglass on Bass and Rex Benincasa on Drums), RUNNING IN PLACE features compositions by Stephen Sondheim, Dave Frishberg, Jeff Blumenkrantz, Zina Goldrich & Marcy Heisler, Kander & Ebb, and more. Following a sold-out show last March for the release of her new CD, All My Tomorrows, singer Angela Leone is reprising the event on Sunday, July 29 at 4 PM at Don't Tell Mama. The enthusiastic response to the album and her performance at the release party has prompted Leone to add a show for those who missed out the first time. Attendees will receive a complimentary copy of the 17-track CD, which contains such gold-standard Songbook classics as 'Almost Like Being in Love,' 'I Thought Bout You' and 'I've Got the World on a String.'
