Cindy Marchionda to Perform at Beechman Theatre 3/21, 3/23, 3/28

The Laurie Beechman Theatre, located within The West Bank Caf? (407 West 42nd St.), is pleased to present Jeff Award winner Cindy Marchionda in Cindy Marchionda: Live at the Beechman. Cindy?s musical director, RAY FELLMAN, will be at the piano and ANDY GALE will direct. The show explores the last two years of Cindy?s life, going from the very funny experience of entering another career to expense some very high dental bills to a very sobering reality when her father is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Expect an eclectic musical menu that includes songs by Jamie Cullum , Leiber and Stoller, Jackson Brown, The Indigo Girls, Johnny Mercer, Randy Newman and The Beatles. Performances will occur on Saturday, March 21st, Monday, March 23rd and Saturday, March 28th. All shows are at 7pm. There is a $15 cover charge and a $15 food and drink minimum for this event. An intimate production of 'Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens' will be performed at the Triad Theatre in Manhattan on Mar. 8 to support The Trevor Project. Ryan Berman, a Marymount Manhattan College directing student, and Jason Haft, an NYU student, produce the benefit. The two also direct the evening with Steve Bednasz at the piano. Elizabeth Espinoza stage manages.

Leslie Jordan's 'My Trip Down the Pink Carpet' to Premiere April 15 at Westside Theatre

West 43rd Street will become a little pinker, as will the Easter Parade (and all of New York City in general) when the actor Leslie Jordan arrives to bring his acclaimed solo show, My Trip Down The Pink Carpet, to the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street) this Spring. Producer Bruce Robert Harris announced that performances will begin on Wednesday, April 15, with an official opening night set for Monday evening, April 20. David Galligan directs the 6-week limited engagement.
