Artistic Director Hal Brooks has announced the 2013 season for Cape Cod Theatre Project, featuring staged readings of new work by Sharr White, Heidi Schreck, Rinne Groff and JC Lee. They will be joined in Falmouth, Massachusetts by writers-in-residence Jackie Sibblies Drury, Andrew Dolan, Halley Feiffer and Academy Award nominee Lucy Alibar.

On next week's all new episode of 1600 PENN, titled 'Dinner, Bath, Puzzle,' after a meeting with the French President (guest star Tom Amandes) and his wife (guest star Sofia Milos), President Gilchrist (Bill Pullman) and Emily (Jenna Elfman) decide to plan an outside-the-box date night in hopes of rekindling their romance. Elsewhere, when Skip (Josh Gad) is left to watch the children for the evening, things don't go quite as expected. Meanwhile, Marshall (Andre Holland) and D.B. (guest star Robbie Amell) form an unexpected bond. Martha MacIsaac, Amara Miller and Benjamin Stockham also star. 'Dinner, Bath, Puzzle' airs March 21 at 9:30 p.m. on NBC.

Manhattan Theatre Club's acclaimed production of The Other Place, the new play by Sharr White, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). The limited engagement will play its final performance today, March 3. On that date, the show will have played 34 previews and 61 regular performances.

On 1600 PENN's upcoming episode, titled 'Game Theory,' when Skip (Josh Gad) announces his big date with Stacey (guest star Susan Park), Emily (Jenna Elfman) takes it upon herself to make sure it goes off without a hitch. 'Game Theory' airs March 7 at 9:30 p.m. on NBC.

Just last night, star of the original movie version of Newsies, Bill Pullman, attended a performance of the Tony Award winning new American musical, and visited with the cast backstage afterwards. Additionally, 'Dance Moms' Abby Lee Miller stopped by for a quick photo with the cast. Broadway and Bucks County Playhouse Producing Director Jed Bernstein will be recognized at The Media Theatre Gala on Saturday February 23 for his contribution to the American theatre. He will receive the 2013 Achievement in The Theatre Award during the evening's pre-show ceremony, which will culminate with a performance by Broadway star Justin Guarini.

Another freshman NBC series may be facing the axe. After today's announcement that they had officially cancelled DO NO HARM after two episodes, the network also confirmed that the low-rating 1600 PENN will not be airing next week. NBC has replaced the February 14 episode of the political comedy, starring Bill Pullman and Jenna Elfman, with a new installment of its departing series THE OFFICE.
