Kathleen Turner is currently starring in the world premiere production of HIGH at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. The production is running through October 2, 2010, after which producers are aiming for a Broadway transfer. Due to overwhelming demand, Signature Theatre Company (Founding Artistic Director James Houghton; Executive Director Erika Mallin) is pleased to announce a second extension for the first New York revival of Tony Kushner's ANGELS IN AMERICA: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, directed by Michael Greif. The production, originally slated to run through December 19, 2010 and extended once through January 30, 2011, will now play an additional three weeks through Sunday, February 20, 2011.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts announced the selection of the individuals who will receive the 2010 Kennedy Center Honors. Recipients to be honored at the 33rd annual national celebration of the arts are: singer and songwriter Merle Haggard; composer and lyricist Jerry Herman; dancer, choreographer and director Bill T. Jones; songwriter and musician Paul McCartney; and producer, television host and actress Oprah Winfrey.

The Broadway-bound production of Matthew Lombardo's HIGH starring Broadway veteran Kathleen Turner begins performances at the Cincinnati Playhouse on September 4 with an opening night set for September 9. HIGH will run through October 2.

William Shakespeare's comedy All's Well That Ends Well kicks-off the fall portion of The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's 2010 Season beginning with performances on September 15 and continuing through October 10 at the F. M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre.

Cirque du Soleil will present a special engagement of the new show Banana Shpeel at San Francisco's Golden Gate Theatre with performances from Saturday, October 16 through Sunday, November 14, 2010.

Veteran actress Kathleen Turner will return to the stage in the role of a recovering alcoholic nun in Matthew Lombardo's world premiere 'High' to be presented by Hartford's TheaterWorks. The production is scheduled to run from July 9 to August 22. Additional casting will be announced at a later date. .

The Ovation Award-winning theater company is bringing Shakespeare's somber saga to the stage, serenaded by the soulful songs of Mr. ‘Ain't No Sunshine', Bill Withers. Jealous King Leontes asks Who is He and What is He To You of wife Hermione, who professes, it's Just the Two of Us. But Leontes is convinced, 'They're trying to Use Me Up!' and banishes her, only to realize there Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone. But with the help of Grandma's Hands, he regains his lost Hermione who says Lean On Me, and we'll have a Lovely Day.
